Car got broken into!!!!
 

well my car got broken into, no less than 3 days before i was gonna get an alarm installed. what luck. anyways i got my cd player(premier deh-p860mp), my radar decetor(cobra esd-9870) and all my cds stolen(about 250 but alot were pirated). i have a picture of the stuff installed in the car, and i can't seem to find any of my recepts. do you think that the picture will be good proof?

I think you would only get covered for the headunit if anything.. I've heard of people being able to just use pictures. Aslong as it was installed in the stock location.

I don't think the insurance company will replace your radar detector or cds.

WTF this is like the second car in about a day that someone attempted/broken into a car. Sucks that you didn't put an alarm in yet though..That should of been #1 on the list. ;\

well their replaceing my radar detector cd player and only get covered for like 10c cds which sucks. but still i get most of my stuff back.

did you tell them it was a radar detector? or did you file it as something else?

they may take your rate up, since you told them you have a radar dectector, which makes them think you speed.
