tC is a nice car. is that grill stock, i've never noticed it until now if it is. if ita aftermarket get a different one or go back to stock, it look funny.

ChiNkYx1 02-13-2005 05:43 PM

^grill is aftermarket from scion. I like it, it goes well with silver I think :)

armieo 02-13-2005 05:45 PM

tripledoublegs 02-13-2005 10:55 PM

MIVtec 02-14-2005 12:12 AM

slam that beast!

Al Gore FTW 02-14-2005 02:47 AM

looks pretty sweet, grill kinda looks funny. tc is nice, i was really likin em when they first came out, now more people around my area have modded tcs, moreso than modded 7thgens

JCiv03 02-14-2005 02:59 AM

^^^ I agree w/ them. It looks gooood w/ the grille!

Kizuel 02-14-2005 03:35 AM

I don't think the grill looks bad, it just may contrast a bit too much.

Because it's silver it brings out the darkness behind it, making the holes seem larger and more striking. But I guess it depends on what kind of look you were going for.

scatman 02-14-2005 05:44 AM

nice whip

armieo 02-14-2005 09:27 AM

Grill makes it look like you have a ton of chickens under the hood. jk jk.

Changu-San 02-14-2005 10:15 AM

looks nice except paint the grill black

bradaven760 02-14-2005 10:48 AM

I just got my tC in black. It is realllllly nice compared to the civic. I had a really fun, cool lookin civic and trust me, anyone on this forum would love driving a tC after the civic. my opinion: that grills is no bueno. Like some one else said, all that matters is that you like it. Im more of a clean freak and I hate things that shine and flash. Underglow, chrome etc etc. Overall nice car because the tC is simply BADASS....

Mr.Modify 02-14-2005 03:49 PM

i like those TC's

boombazokajoe91 02-14-2005 05:04 PM

i like those cars .....i almost bought one....

Kizuel 02-14-2005 05:13 PM

I've been in a tC, and I don't like it; my Civic is more comfortable, rides better and looks better, plus you can't even notice the +30hp difference.

Wow..... The Civic does have a better look than the tC (only with aftermarket parts, kit, rims, etc etc) Stock look to stock look i would say the tc has appearance hands down (simply my taste though). However, the interior on the civ is hardly more comfortable. The mesh cloth seats on the tC is rediculously comfortable. The big fat shifter and the leather covered steering wheel is sooo nice. Not to mention the aesthetic feeling of the gauge cluster being soo sexy with the brushed aluminum (plastic) inlays. You dont notice the 60 lbs of torque difference or the 30 hp difference? you dont notice the 0 - 60 in 6.4 seconds? :screwy: WOW! Man I really don't know if you have even driven a tC if thats the case. You must have a turbo vic or somthin because there is a biiiig difference. Im not attacking what you like because you are always sapposed to like what you like more than what others say but the tC is in a whole higher class than the civic. One more tid bit on the cars performence the tC's 0 - 60 is less than a second slower than the v6 iS 300. I found that impressive.

Brad

dirtySAMURAI 02-14-2005 06:09 PM

IS300 isn't v6.

I was just gonna say almost all of that. But the tc is 3000+ lbs with a driver, and its 0-60 is 7.5 stock. I have driven a few, didn't seem too fast, but there was also 3 people in the car. The interior is much better compared to the civic though.

Al Gore FTW 02-14-2005 06:34 PM

oh yeah and IS300 isn't a v6

kasimmmmm 02-14-2005 10:59 PM

nice! Lookin' good. Wish we had those in Canada. I wouldn't think twice about getting one. SO what do you like better, civic or tC?

2k1civic01 02-14-2005 11:24 PM

the hell you mean IS300 isn't a v6...it has a non-turbo supra engine in it.....inline 6, v6 still has 6 cylinders

Kizuel 02-14-2005 11:47 PM

I test drove one and wasn't impressed, and I've ridden in the passangers seat of a co-workers tC and it was bumpy as hell; not that a stock Civic isn't bumpy, but the tC seemed very unforgiving and hard. Plus the windshield is sloped down so much in front, it gave me very little head room making it difficult to see. I don't see how you can think the plastic gauge inlay is sexy, it's one of the cheapest interiors I've seen. It's as if I'm in a powerwheels for teens rather than a car.
