my coworker and i tried to do his today...we tried to use a heat gun to open them up but that didnt work too well. 04-05 have to be placed in the oven. |

no i didn't do it myself, i just bought them off a member here, but looking back at it now it is a pretty simple diy. all you need to do is follow the diy instructions. i don't regret getting blacked out either ince i'm not a big fan of chrome. the less the better. how can you deny it anyways it looks pretty good. |

its really not that hard. just got to be carefull while your doing it, so you dont brake nething. its a great project to do, especially if ur not confident in doing much things yourself, because its pretty easy. |

04 looks SOOO much better blacked out, I still love my lights, even tho I got a little bit of fog in the right one, still looks nice as hell!! Make sure you seal urs up with some silicon to keep the moisture out. |

Nice work kornished! Did you guys run into any problems at all? I want to do mine too, but the whole taking the glass off the headlight thing has me a little concerned, but from what everyone says, it shouldn't be that hard. |

Very nice, I love blue/black color combos! I dont know about 04 DIY Clearing of headlights, but I did my 01 and it took less than a 1/2 hour including taking off the front bumper and everything, suppose that if you black it out, obviously it will take a little longer to paint, lol but you get the idea... |

fiji steve will never fall to the dark side! w00t w00t! I think specifically for the fiji blue, the headlights look better and cleaner left alone.... be on the lookout for my pics posted of my 04' tommorrow morning, i got my lambos installed this past weekend.... |
