the beam isn't really crooked as it may look in the pic, but the passenger side beam is aimed slightly higher than the driver side to compensate for degree of rotation.

Shifty 02-07-2005 08:48 PM

nice!! looks sweet! now go find a bimmer and see who's is brighter...lol.

ImPulse 02-07-2005 08:53 PM

looks like they are both aimed too high?

get a wall pic

I should be getting mine this week :)

dirtySAMURAI 02-07-2005 08:58 PM

no that's just how the road and my driveway sit. my driveway is inclined a bit and the road slopes downward starting from...where the car is.

alignment: they're aligned too closely. i can't change it though, so i'll have to live with a really bright, centered light. lol.

abmerop18 02-07-2005 09:03 PM

Looks good. Did you use the dual halos like you have in your avatar? Pics of the lights closeup?

dual halos are on the car, but currently not hooked up to a power source. i'm still tired from saturday/sunday 18 hour retrofit time.

Cost me around $600 for all the parts. No labor cost though since I DIY'd this.

Royando 02-08-2005 08:52 PM

that is SICK!! hey can you let me know who did em for ya? i wanted to put in some 350Zs in my TYCs but I dont wanna do them. Too much time consuming, help me out bro, let me know who i can contact.

Thanx

dirtySAMURAI 02-09-2005 06:19 AM

I did it for myself. 350z projectors aren't projectors. They are reflector based projectors, meaning they use a D2R bulb (has a shield on the bulb to prevent excessive glare). It won't give the best output, but it's a nice reflector.

HondaKorn 02-09-2005 09:22 AM

awesome job!!
