JDM Headlights

ok im on the search for the black housing JDM headlights for my Civic. They use the factory bulb as the OEM headlights do too cuz the light is the same design right? anyone know a site I can purchase these off of, cuz no shop around me seems to stock them, thanks

among many others

i think most of the vendors that frequent this site carry them.

wait, are you talking about people blacking out they're headlights, TYCs, or generic headlights?

I also saw it on ebay a few times.
If you're a DIY person, it's really easy. There's a DIY for that job on this site.

I just did some, they're not perfect but still good enough for $69 shipped if you want.

The sockets for the turn signals in the sedans and the coupes are different. Depending on which version you have it will either be easy or a little frustrating. You do not need new wiring, just the sockets the bulbs fit into. You may also need to get amber bulbs for the turn/parking lights, depending on which state you live in.

whats the difference between the black gun metal and just the black ones tho? what pair did you get?

rijowysock 01-30-2005 07:45 PM

whoever buys these ill buy ur oem's if u got a sedan

02civic_rida 01-30-2005 08:52 PM

Just do them urself, ;-) ive done like 4 already, very very easy, just takes time and patients, good luck to ya mang, and yea the ones from robear are reliable if u end up going with them just becareful because u may have to buy diff sockets for them if they are for a sedan.
