I Need Your Opinion Now Before I Make A Mistake!

this is my perdicament right now. im going to buy some tycs retrofitted valedo d2s. i sold my previous hid kit. but now im having second thoughts. should i buy the hid kit and sell my tv total is approx 1400, and boost. or should i build my outside and inside then boost. i had some parts for a custom turbo setup so im builidng from scratch again. the reason for the turbo being so cheap is my friend is making, tuning, doing all the work. so im basically paying for parts. labor is free since im car is going to be a flagship for his new motorsports store. give me your input please. show inside and out, or boost.

Is the car a daily driver? How much PSI are you going to be boosting it? I would boost it if you weren't going to be running very many PSI as a daily driver, if it is a daily driver I would also build up the motor or swap that bad oscar, then boost!

noo, my tv would be 700, and my hid setup is going to cost roughly 700, retros are hella expensive. daily 4 psi, but knowing me i would be runing it pretty hard. i decided to go with my hids. i just got a job! my brother didnt want it and since he would be working for his friend he was like, my brother wants to work! start weds!!! hahahah awesome. making 600 a month, i'll save for a lil, maybe even for a swap.

hahah looks like boost is the answer. i decided to keep my ice and get my retros. shoudl be boosted regardless in 2 months. trip to europe = cancelled. i talk to my friend whose making me the kit and he said he ownt be open for 2 months to make me all the piping and turbo mani and etc because of school. so everything is et in place. i'll post some pics of my retro once i get them in.

do not get a turbo for your d17. if i were you i would look at this in the long run...get a K20 swap first, then down the road get a turbo or supercharger or whatever. your car will be a monster. if you go ahead and get the turbo for your stock engine, there really arent many options after that, unless you build up the internals and run at a higher psi, but that will still only get you so much power. thats what i would do (and am doing), but then again, i dont know how much power youd be satisfied with...

14s is good enough for me, im changing cars in about 1 1/2 - 2 years. no point putting in money for a k20 swap. rather just spent 1200-1500 and boost. custom setup. professionally tuned etc etc. most likely i'll be boosted by the summer, ready for the socal norcal meet.
