Dash trim kit.

I'm looking at this Carbon Fiber Dash Trim Kit on Ebay, its made by R vinyl performance graphics. I was just wondering if anybody knows if this is a decent product of how easy it is to apply, and whether or not its worth it?

Buy it, if it sucks, then you are only out like $50 or so...

ImPulse 01-25-2005 11:42 AM

zwmichael 01-25-2005 10:14 PM

CivicsRdBest 02-01-2005 05:54 PM

I'd change it up completely not just put a sticker on it...

the real thing aint good either. the pieces are never cut perfectly and doesn't stick right. aftermarket trim kits suck.

zachgeyer 02-01-2005 07:21 PM

save

nitroal1973 02-02-2005 10:14 AM

Thats my ghetto Honda fake CF kit.... freebie owns me =)

es2k2 02-02-2005 11:21 AM

how much was it?
$150 include labor for cf?
i'm still deciding the aluminum or cf....

PoorCollegeBoy 02-02-2005 11:31 AM

I got a (fake) bruhsed aluminum one of ebay that I am happy with. The only thing I would warn you about is installing it near the cupholders (with the 03s+). The peices were so large that now my cupholders wont close, no regrets, but I would have rather just removed everything and painted them.

Go with the aluminum, doesn't have to match anything else in the car...like if you have a cf hood

fastcivic03 02-02-2005 11:47 AM

hey TheSmuggler that looks sick, u said its fake wat is it jus vinyl??

TheSmuggler 02-02-2005 03:13 PM

Nah, its the oem plastic one. I like it alot, I mean sure its not real, but I didn't pay for it. It's the top 3 pieces, and I have it all on my center console also. Yes, its held on by tape, but its not a "sticker" in the paper sense =)
