jackal903 01-13-2005 12:51 PM

SuperFrankie 01-13-2005 12:52 PM

yes they are that plus rear wheel steering it handles like no other lol i have the widest tires ever on a vr-4 stealth or 3000gt :P

AzNmiKex215 01-13-2005 01:16 PM

i never saw one in such GOOD condition. nice!

SuperFrankie 01-13-2005 01:17 PM

its a 91 too :P its in awesome condition it just had a 4000$ Paint job

jfan 01-13-2005 02:16 PM

It doesn't bother you that the tires stick out that far from the wheel well?

Pharoh 01-13-2005 02:25 PM

are you going muddin? lol j/k

I like the look of that car better than the Dodge Stealth

abmerop18 01-13-2005 02:26 PM

$4000?? What did they do and what kind of paint did they use? :D
I thought the usual price for a good paint job is like $2000 or so.

Agent9 01-13-2005 02:59 PM

rear wheel steering? wtf like that one chevy truck?

realitycheck 01-13-2005 03:31 PM

Yeah ive yet to see one of those on the road! They also had a honda prelude that had rear wheel steering, from what I hear you could fly around corners in that thing. I wonder if this would be beneficial in auto-x or if its just nonsense?????

Yeah I had one those prelude!!! It was the best handling car I ever had (stock), untill you hit a curb and knock the steering out of an alingment, try find a shop that will do a four wheel steering alignment, and get it done right!!!

realitycheck 01-13-2005 03:39 PM

So you think they would be crap for auto-x?

It would be okay, but i would want to take it to someone that really knew how to align it. What happens often with the AWS is that the alignment between what the front tire thinks is straigh and rear tires think are striaght may not be the same, so the rearend ends up wanting to pull one way, and all you have to do is hit a curb to hard or something and it is all messed up. There is a reason Honda stopped making it. The back tires only move 10ths of an inch, it not like the rear move the same distance but opposite to the front. I'm sure it would handle good in autoX, but with todays suspension technology, and considering they quite making those over 10 years ago, I don't think it would be my choice.

Nice car by the way... I always wanted a VR-4

SuperFrankie 01-13-2005 05:35 PM

this guy is photoshopping me some fender flares depending on how that looks i wanna get smaller tires like 295 in the front and leave 315 in the rear

wrussi 01-13-2005 06:10 PM

very nice car man!!

SuperFrankie 01-13-2005 06:23 PM

thank you :)

dre2600 01-13-2005 06:30 PM

What kind of mods do you have on it? Or are you running it stock w. those bestial tires?

SuperFrankie 01-13-2005 07:14 PM

i am right now just running stock pretty much ionly have a fipk with my duel sidemount intercoolers and a grounding kit on 12psi instead of 9 i will have a 3.5 inch exhaust with a 4 inch highflow cat really soon though and a boost controller so i can run it 15psi stokcinternals can take like 22 psi but the injectors can't handle more than 15 and i am buying a 75 and 55 shot of nitrous within the next few months too tahts just a start this summer i plan on a carbonfiber driveshaft (that unleashes so much ****ing power) and a front mount intercooler by HKS and just alot of crap upgraded fuel system too run a higher psi then bigger turbos

Cocky 01-14-2005 11:05 AM

Cocky 01-14-2005 11:21 AM

MishBallzEM2 01-14-2005 11:22 AM

Cocky 01-14-2005 11:29 AM

we took a friggin 90 degree turn at like 80 in it.. smell the tires burning.. mhmm.. it was funnnn.

Revmaster 01-14-2005 12:12 PM

If I haven't known its a VR-4, I would mistake it as a Hummer with those huge and wide tires. :D

$ ouch. Is that in the photo or after? ...cuz I was gonna say I'm not a fan of that color. Is it red or orange, it looks like it used to be red but got faded out badly in the sun.
BUT... other than the color, you're all right. It's a very nice car, and in such fine condition, wicked tires. I always love driving behind a car with wide, low-profile tires just cuz it looks so good.

booba5185 01-14-2005 01:06 PM

any idea what that runs in the 1/4?

R1Style 01-14-2005 02:32 PM

those are fvcking wide!!! Does it rub the fender?
