I'd have to buy a puncture bandage or whatever. We don't have much potholes in Danbury, but we do have a lot of dirt and salt. Do you think its safe for my rims to drive around with them, or should I wait?

i take mine off for the winter. salt is very corrosive. i'd say go ahead and replace the blown tire, and get rims+tires in spring.

What if I clean it every night with whatever you wheel lovers clean it with?

just drive it with the rims, its a car, not a ferrari. i have my rims on and dropped and i still drive it through winter, cuz i rather it look nice then look ugly and suffer for months, only to keep some rims that will still get messed up from rocks and stuff in the summer anyways. just enjoy it while u can. if it gets real bad, get new ones. not that hard.

True that. But do you clean it or not? I don't want to spend $600 on rims every 2 months.

salt is bad

seriously. especially to aluminum, as compared to steel. not to mention that your tires are probably not all-season. it'll give you all winter to clean them up real good too :sweet:
