Civic gone, new toy...

You'll either love it or hate it, I LOVE IT...

Was going to buy a 2005 WRX Wagon but the insurance was an un-godly amount that I cant afford so I found something else... Picked this up 2 days ago.

It's a 2004 Jeep Wrangler Columbia Edition. Bought it used with 12,000 miles. Has the inline-6 and a 5spd...

Was a nice day today in Atlanta, high 60's, so I took the top and doors off...

Civic was VERY impractical and honestly, I didnt like it and I hated driving it. It had all sorts of body problems (like paint flaking off the body kit, fender was starting to rust, etc from where a body shop F*CKED it up) and I was just tired of dealing with it.... It was fun while it lasted tho, got alot of props for having a clean ass civic by civic haters tho, haha...

Jeep is $600 a year cheaper than my civic on insurance. Where I goto school (and live during the semesters) the roads are one giant pothole so the Jeep will work great.

Plus- I always wanted one and wanted a 5spd... Haha

Sold the civic for $15k in case anyone was wondering. Took out the whole system, headunit, viper alarm with pager remote, and s2k wheel before I sold as well.

MasterSadon 01-01-2005 06:14 PM

Im guessing the civic you sold is a 2002 ex coupe  How many miles did it have?

PistolPete 01-01-2005 06:30 PM

nice ride!
2 of my buddys have jeeps and they are pretty sweet.
weve put them through some tough sh!t, and they always come out fine :D

you gonna lift it?

abmerop18 01-01-2005 06:33 PM

not bad. now get a lift kit and some 33" tires on that biotch

Hit 35,000 miles when I was going to meet the guy buying it. My bill of sale said 35,010, haha.

Nodnero 01-01-2005 07:13 PM

Thanks man. I really had no intentions of buying a Jeep, I was looking at some used BMW's and Lexus' and stuff, found this Jeep online, happened to at the Jeep dealer down the street, went to take a look at it and just loved it. I have gotten so many compliments on it, espicially the wheels (which are stock). Seats are 2 tone from Columbia and the silver was stock too, I thought they did a Honda thing and painted it at first! LOL

joescivic02 01-01-2005 08:03 PM

_Viper_ 01-01-2005 08:53 PM

civicvtec1ps 01-01-2005 11:28 PM

You probably traded in because your civic was auto hehe.

Being an auto didnt help, I just didnt like it anymore and NEVER drove it (and couldnt being so low with 19s where I live).

I got a great deal on it... $17k (or $18,400 out the door). End of year and end of month does wonders...

kornsined 01-02-2005 12:06 AM

Going with 35s on a daily driven Jeep is like going with 19s on a daily driven civic, IT SUCKS ASS.

lilravingmatt 01-02-2005 06:09 PM

Wolfgang5884 01-02-2005 06:20 PM
