ACT clutch installed, *PICS* 1 Attachment(s) ok so me and two of my friends did my clutch in his garage on new years eve, im going to make a DIY but dont have the time right now, here are some pics of the install. if you have 2 or more people, and the right tools, its a 5 hour job and not too much of a hassle. if your gonna do it by yourself forget about it. btw, the act clutch is awesome. removing CV shafts http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...0_0447-med.JPG removal of starter http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...0_0449-med.JPG http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...0_0450-med.JPG bell housing bolts http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...0_0455-med.JPG rear motor mount http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...0_0457-med.JPG flywheel http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...0_0463-med.JPG installing act http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...0_0468-med.JPG release bearing http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrid...0_0472-med.JPG diy coming soon |

1 Attachment(s) thanks guys, the next chance i get im gonna sit down and write that DIY as best i can, there were alot of details. btw, here are the tools we used, i wish they were mine! |
so you just pulled the starter and axel and swung the bell housing to the side? I had to drop my sub frame when I did a tranny swap to mine. what a pain in the @$$. Was it tough to get the flywheel and clutch off with that small space? and how did you get the bearing out?I thought it would be a pain the pull the bearing like that. |
we only had about 5 inches between the trans and motor to work with, im getting ready to make the DIY now, you can read that |
how the hell do i post in the DIY section??? |
I think you have to post in a forum and it gets moved in to the DIY section once its deemed worthy.....make it a good one bro! |
