Had a blast at Lime Rock Park this monday with the NASA. One of my buddies got about 30 great shots of me on the track. I picked my favs for you guys to see.

Here is me about to pass a guy in a 70's Corvette stingray. He had to let off for me to get by him on the straight....but not that much :hgrin:

This was a WRX swapped 2.5RS, me and him were running together for about 9 laps, great fun. We eventually caught up to a 6 car train and it ruined our fun. I was keeping up with him on the straights pretty good :D

Yea lime rock really is a track you need to check out, exspecially sence your so close, i drove 1 1/2 hours to get there. :rofl:

Something i forgot to mention, my instructor at the end of the first sesion says to me "what is in this car? Its pretty fast!"

thats awesome. who's the gl00b in your passenger seat though? i might have to give a road track a try this summer at mid-ohio once i ahve my boost

That "gl00b" is my instructor. He was really awsome he helped me out alot, by the second sesion i had passed like 4 cars. We got back and he says to me "that was perfect man, your really getting good." Boosted my moral. I felt bad for him though cause the first sesion i wound up in the grass in turn one. :rofl: Braked alittle to hard and wound up trail braking and spinning off.

edit: oh and that comment about my car being fast from him felt really awsome cause he drives a M3 :sweet:

NICE I love Lime Rock! We were going to go for Ferrari Day, but I think it was like $40 per person at the door :moon: If ya ask me...thats a lil much just to watch. BUT its TOTE an awesome place!

It really doesn't matter if your car is fast or not, your not racing anyone during a open track event, no times, no positions, you just go around the track for fun.

dont start comparing your car to an m3... :)

hawk... when i get my beater... we're going to the track with it. put it this way... its a 92 hatch with full poly bushings, springs, shocks, tie bars, sway bars and something special under the hood.

Well i'm goin to Virginia International Raceway this febuary, but i don't you'll want to go there for your first event. The pocono events for the NASA normally start in July so maybe you can come there.
