need you 7thgen's wisdom I have finally obtained my goal of the money i need to get something good on my car. I have read all the threads on stuff and got alot of advice from you all. i have gotten stuck because there are 4 things that i cant decide on what to get so i was wondering if you could give me ur opinion or experience with this stuff n whether it was good or bad 1.Nitrous Express Wet Kit - 50-55 shot (stock except intake and exhuast) 2.Axis Spider 18' hyper black rims (i have 17' tenzo r passion five gunmetal rims) 3.Indash Pioneer N1 screen nvr had ne screen 4.Air suspension (currently have eibach springs) if you could help me out with this delima i would b so grateful. any advice or comments i would love either good or bad. :_bow: :_bow: |

nitrous... cuz our Civics are so maxed out from factorie that all you can possibly do is 1.swap 2.turbo/super 3.nitrous me?? ill take all the above, turbo though but not super but if u want those choices i'd go 4 nitrous |

I'm not sure if you have good shocks already but if not that money could be put to use on a coilover setup with the appropriate sway and strut bar upgrades. If you have that already, then I'd go for the screen. No need to go with NOS, you'll just be hurting your engine anyway, and the total amount you'd spend fixin it back up, added to install, would = swap territory. Of course, you COULD upgrade your rims, sell the old ones, and take that money to use towards suspension...it's all about balancing right? |

never really been a nitrous fan, but i think those rims are fukin awsome, but i would have to say air suspension since you have nice rims already |

I dunno, depends on if you want speed, or looks.......speed go nitrous, Ive been spraying for 65k and have had no issues.....looks go air ride cause its fun and it freaks people out when you pankake in front of them, lol Johnny G |
if you go nitrous or turbo, you will have to beef up your internals and clutch. you will end up dumping alot of money into the car. if you want speed, do the swap. otherwise go for looks and get the other stuff. |
nitrous is cool and can be dangerous unless you dont abuse it.. i suggest building some of the engine components before using it to be a more on the safe side. 18's wont do any good for performance they will slow you down even more but they do look damn good. the tv is just another reason for somebody to break in your car and take it. my suggestion, if you really wanted some more speed you would be askin about turbo vs swap.. i say go for looks and get you a beater to build up like a crx with a b18 or something to use for a race car.. get the 18's and the bags.. build the civic to look good and then have another car to race with. or perhaps sell your car and buy this.. http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=181248 show + go already done for you... |
