i have to wait two more days :(

did you install it yourself?

7thGenLX 09-07-2004 05:29 AM

id have to say that dont look that bad thumbs up for creativity

XxSoVeReiGNxX 09-07-2004 07:33 AM

I bet it would look good on a sedan since their rears aren't as slanted as coupes

Speedracer32 09-07-2004 07:53 AM

you need somethign else to offset how huge it is
rims
bodykit
something..look like any other 50 spoiler bought at pepboys
doesn't seem to flow at the moment but maybe in the future
good luck

I totally agree.

dret 09-07-2004 09:03 AM

LOOKS AWESOME man!!

I think an OEM kit would look good on your car... the spoiler is clean... Something totally different for our cars..

The install was pretty easy?

tinman 09-07-2004 09:27 AM

Not bad.... not bad....

Some nice rims would be the ticket to balance the car now.

aznboysrfr 09-07-2004 09:44 AM

yes, I agree that I need some better rims ... unfortunately, I'm in a financial ditch. I only got the spoiler because it was from a good group buy ... but it does look nice, imo ... I'm gonna get some 17's when I can same up some more money

yeah, my friend and I installed it ... REAL easy, but u need a drill ... nothing fancy. It came with a black sticky strip to put on the trunk so it wouldn't rub, but the screws weren't long enough, so we ended up not using the black strip. Even though one side was a little high, it's flexible material, so the fit was still perfect

Nemesis22 09-07-2004 09:56 AM

Good luck on that cuz everyone knows how hard it is to save money.

dragoon 09-07-2004 03:54 PM

imo it would look very nice with an aggressive kit. dunno about with the OEM, though.

aznboysrfr 09-08-2004 12:25 AM

I am not looking for a bodykit period. a bodykit will NEVER go on my car. I am going for an aggressive oem look. The closest thing to a bodykit that will ever go on my car will be a front lip

looks like any of the other 50 spoilers at pep boys? holy shit, obviously you've never been to pep boys

oh well, I guess you can't please everybody. I'll have new rims in a few months if I can save that much ... you'll see...

MadWheel 09-08-2004 01:03 AM

I'm digging the idea man... With the wing though you def need a decent drop with some larger wheels. Good luck.

02sleeper 09-09-2004 06:04 PM

litlle big for me but i guess its cool if you like it

dret 09-09-2004 06:54 PM

even though the car is stock for now.. I still think it loos CLEAN!!.. OEM kit would lookgood

looking for a Kseries swap i have a friend selling a K20A3 with only 90KM for $1700 CDN.... Sweet price!!

i also did my custom type-s wing. they basically slice it half and bond it back together. mine was done for $300...sliced, bonded, painted and installed. I think the wing deff looks hot but i myself agree with you cuz it's such huge wing, it needs a body kit to make the wing fit it. I bought a wingswest G5 lip kit and i can't wait to install. i'ma see if i can get pix for ya'll. the wing don'y look too bad on my car cuz i have a drop and 17's.

HondaNation 04-28-2005 12:19 AM

ready for take off :giggle:

djspot 04-28-2005 09:18 AM

since you asked what we thought...well, honestly I think it looks bad...not like eeeeeeeewwww thats disgusting...but it just doesnt look like it belongs on the car...it doesnt flow with the car....

being different isnt always a good thing...I always stress something, and that is, dont necessarly buy what "part" you like, buy would would look nice on your car, would would accent the lines of the car and so on...

in my personal opinion, it just pops out, like its not suppose to be there...

eye_see_you 04-28-2005 09:32 AM

need something to offset it thats for sure otherwise I think it would look better on my sedan.. LOL

dwi 04-28-2005 11:01 PM

mang, you need to look at dret's car!!! Thats hot!!! he has good taste. Like i said, you need something to help the wing not stand out. The wing looks just fine on the civic. It's exclusive and i get a lot of compliments so i guess it works for me.
