17 inch rims WITHOUT lowering....anyone have pics??

hello, I'm just wondering if anyone here has a pic of a 7th gen. with 17's on it, at stock height.
A friend is selling his rims but I don't want to mess with my suspension until my warranty is up. Is it possible to have this set-up without it looking 4X4 style....thanx

Check Member's rides next time.

its not possible.. you're going to look like a 4x4...

diskreet 06-22-2004 11:19 PM

it depends on the tires. if you get 17s with a 45 or 50 wall tire it will look fine

IMO, Jayfreazy's car can still be lowered about an inch or so.. Still a nice looking ride though.

i have 215/40/17 and i could probably go rock climbing in it lol

you should look into 16's with 50 sidewall ratio that will look good
i can show you a sideshot of mine later

having rims is better than not. Dropping with rims is also better than not.
The SUV jokes get old after a while :D
get the rims and later slap in an eibach pro kit.( very subtle drop.)

alienmeatsack 06-23-2004 02:38 PM

Mines stock height with 17"s as well. Looks fine for me, until one day I can afford a coilover kit.

Actually his car has chrome lining on the windows/doors, and it matches pretty good. But i dont really like those rims.
