the back peice looks really good....did you have to do anything special to make the rear piece fit? and what sideskirts are those?

Don't slam it. Especially since you live in nyc. All those potholes will mess up your suspension. I try to drive as little as possible when I'm in ny.

slicksivik 11-25-2003 06:27 PM

slam it in the spring and get an exhaust haha

guamcivic2k1 11-25-2003 09:41 PM

no, nothing special, it fit pretty well. Only thing was on the bottom where the 2 screws normally go for the coupe, theres nothing to screw it on to for the 4dr. So, I just screwed it on in a different location underneath the car. My sideskirts are type A side skirts.

AZ2K1Civic 11-26-2003 02:01 PM

Looks great...if you're gonna lower it take into consideration the height of the kit from the ground...

JayFReaZy 11-26-2003 10:36 PM

Well, got my rear section on today, and almost lost my car! When I was installing the rear section, I had taken off the back rear passanger side wheel, and it was on a stand. As soon as I put on my exhaust, of course I wanted to rev it. Being the idiot that I am, instead of putting it in neutral, i put it in drive!!! :_doh: :_doh: :_doh: :hithead: :hithead: :hithead: . Car jumped the jack stands, and the back suspension arm (i think thats what is called) slams into the concrete, :hithead: :hithead: :hithead: . Thank god the rotor didnt hit, when I was in the car, and it fell, my heart just dropped. I was litterally shaking praying to god the car was ok, :_doh: :_doh: . Well, i drove on the highway with it, and local streets, seems to be fine. HKS rear section sounds great, just not as loud as I would like it to be. Thank god my car is ok. Anything I should check out to make sure everything is still ok?
