I was thinking about getting an emblem to replace the stock H. It would be the white one in the pic below (back). Would the car still look clean, or rice? I just wanted the back to look a bit less plain, but not too crazy.

yeah, i regret it. I want a black or CF one for my car.

i like the silver one...

So which one should I get? Or just leave it stock? The white one would at least blend in a bit.

Go with gray or black.

I personally prefer the stock one over the ones with color in the middle; but that's just me.

I actually wanted to Paint the stock rear one black....but i couldnt figure out how to remove it..

i say shave it along with the trunk keyhole. im gonna do that. :D now thats clean.

Could somebody post what the shaved looks like? And does that mean you literally shave it? With a razor?

i just posted a pic above. Shaved means all emblems/keyhole taken off.

If it were me I'd feel a little funny doing red because that's been a type R thing...only do red if you have a type R engine. Otherwise go black or grey. Adds a little flavor without looking completely rice.

How do you get rid of the holes in the panels when you do the shaved look?

Yeah, I would recommend using a Mach 3 Razor and Gillette shaving cream for the closest possible shave and clean look.

But on a side note, OMG that has to be the biggest n00b question I have ever heard :hithead: :roflmao:

Yea, i heard about that razor being good. Just make sure you shave with the grain and not against it.


But in all seriousness, if you want the clean look just shave the emblems, shaving the trunk will require body work and paint. But if you don't care about then its cool.

unlless you can find a honda emblem and sand down the points and paint it black...... thatd be clean! and double side tape it with 3m
