2001 civic ex coupe sway bar? 01 civic ex coupe with 215-45-17 and coilovers dropped 1.75 rear/ 1.5 front would a aftermarket rear sway bar improve anything??? If yes, what brand, size and where to purchase it. Also, will anything special be needed to instal, or does it a direct bolt on swap part???? |
Yea, there have been great reviews on the RSX OEM sway bar. $75 at the dealer, $82 on hondawerx.com |
went to website likn, didnt see it listed, only bodykit??? So the rsx will be a direct swap out, no mods needed??? |
yep direct swap... most members that have it have said it was the best mod they have done yet.:_bow: |
where do i get one???? Hondawerx isnt selling them right now |
www.acuraautomotiveparts.net Go through the menus... RSX-S, Lower Rear Arm You need the sway bar, 2 bushings, 2 new brackets. |
Progress also has a 22mm sway/tie bar combination. |
yes progress makes a sway bar with there tie bar as one unit. that would be a good choice |
i went to a Acura dealship this last weekend and i was going to order the sway bar, but there is no 19mm sway bar, it is a 23mm sway bar, i guess the new RSX comes with a 23mm not a 19mm, it is going for about $170 i odered it so i will know this weekend on how it fells |
what you ordered was the Integra type R sway bar. DO NOT put it on without a rear lower tie bar. |
can you please post the thread to order the progress kit, I want to make sure I get the right part, thx |
WOW!! 23mm, thats like a FULL inch! well, one things for sure, youre rear wont have ANY body roll:eek::eek: |
