dc sports or neuspeed strut tower bar?

Ok I'm looking at buying the front strut bar and a lower rear tie bar for my car. I'm basically trying to decide whether to get the dc sports or the neuspeed. My question is whether it's true that the dc sports bar flexs more than the neuspeed? I like the blue strut bar that DC sports makes however I don't want to sacrifice performance for looks. SO I need input on what you guys have heard.

eh, theres alot of contraversy, i personally would get the neuspeed cause ya it seems like the dc would allow the car to flex a little and neuspeed is cheaper.

I got the Neuspeed because it is a one piece design w/o any links. Less chance for unwanted movement IMO.

Another thing to consider is that the design of the Neuspeed bar has the crossmember almost right against the firewall. Less chance of it getting in the way of an intake pipe.

hey where did you buy your neuspped strut from and how much?

I purchased my upper and lower front from NOPI. Including shipping it was 240 for the polished ones. Which was a killer price. That was the lowest I found for polished, for the black it was about the same everywhere.

the neuspeed front upper bar will run you about $100. I got mine from tornactive

hey if u really want the blue color that DC sports have to offer...wut u could do is go to pepboys or kragens...and get a bottle of metalcast's anodized blue paint...looks almost exactly like it...im usin it for my fuse box cover and my sparkplug covers right now...but if u do get it make sure u get metalcasts' groundcoat if u plan on sprayin it to any surface other than metal

supposedly the performance is better for the neuspeed than the dc I personally like the neuspeed better all around... but a friend just gave me an el cheapo brand one for free so... the price was right

I say go with neuspeed and if you want color, paint it or have it powder coated. around here people powder coat strut bars for $15

I'm confused- I am looking to replace my stock sway bar from my civic ex (2001)- from what I have been reading it is a must do. Anyway, what do I need? I was looking at the progress rear strut bar which has some brace for the lower tie rod that comes with it. I was also looking at the tornactive website, and there are upper and lower rear strut bars available- which ones do I need? Do I get the upper and lower, or just the progress one. I read a post somewhere here that said putting on a larger rear swaybar can damage your suspension unless the tie rod was supported, which one of these set-ups will do this for me? Please help me someone!!!!

uh.. i think your getting confused...
there are
front/rear strut bar
front/rear tie bar
sway bars

so far i think progress only makes sway bars and no strut bars
and i think dc and neuspeed made strut bars but have yet to make sway bars
n ya i think the progress sway bar comes with a rear tie bar.
