Lowest realistic drop

I have an 05 sedan with 17x7 rims with 205/40/17 and was wondering if I would be able to use neuspeed race springs or something with a similar drop, atleast 2"?

Re: Lowest realistic drop

u could drop 2" and be fine. neuspeed is good, eibach ground control is better.

as for a 2" drop, ur gonna need aftermarket struts. because ur oem will blow out with anything more than about an inch. takico blues wont do it either because they are only good for 1-1.5" drops.

do it right the first time, or you'll WASTE more money trying to do it right the 2nd.

Re: Lowest realistic drop

When you Eibach GC do you mean the eibach springs that say GC on them or do you mean coilover sleeves?

Re: Lowest realistic drop

teh coil sleves.

i am dropped 4" on my dailly driver. and i can drive it around w/o scraping my front bumper, so a 2" drop should be a pc of cake.

Re: Lowest realistic drop

id say 1-2" is the max you wanna go esp with 17"s, any lower prob kill your ride

Re: Lowest realistic drop

Don't really care about the ride just looks, so I would like to go atleast 2".

Re: Lowest realistic drop

This is probably a noob question but is there a difference between a static 2" drop and coilovers dropped that much?
