D2 coilover help!!!!!!
 
I got my d2 coilovers the other day. The instructions are good filled with caution and warning talk. Saying do not use on normal roads...

anyways Whats the proper way to install them. I see the bottom turns and the top turns, i'm super confused anyone that has these can they help me out!?

just bolt them in and go. the important thing to know what to do is setting the preload on the spring. i think the megan website has instructions on how to do that :)

put them on, adjust spring until it is snug but you can still spin it (you may have to set the car down 1-2x before you get it right), adjust height by spinning the shock into/out of the strut.

okay I installed the front. all is well. wow its super stiff.. love it. I gotta do the rear tomorrow ill take pictures later. =P

you set the preload correctly? If not, the shock doesn't have full stroke.

No idea what your talking about^^^^ I screwed the top so it doesn't move.. but yeah?

You can freely spin the spring but you should not be able to move it up and down AND it should not be too tight. It doesn't have to be perfect. But you adjust the height from the lower locking collar not the spring locking collars.
