Squeaking Noise From My Rear Springs When I am driving, I can hear the rear springs squeak a lot. What could it be? The suspension I have on my car are H&R springs, with Koni Yellow Shocks. I bought the H&R's used, and the shocks were bought new. I have 195-55-15 tires, when I have people in my back seat, it is lowered more. Could they be weak or should I just replace them? Thanks. |
Re: Squeaking Noise From My Rear Springs i think is the camber kit.. springs doesnt make squeakin noise |
Re: Squeaking Noise From My Rear Springs ^^^^ bingo, i had this problem a ways back, i can tell u how to fix it if u want, it does require a grease gun |
Re: Squeaking Noise From My Rear Springs and a grease gun needle, i fixed it on mine, and i can get u a needle if u want, they are like 4 bucks from cornwell, but it works great, did mine a month ago and still no squeaks, otherwise u have to buy a whole new rear camber kit |
Re: Squeaking Noise From My Rear Springs ok Imma have to check that out.... Can the car be driven like that? Will it cause any damage? |
Re: Squeaking Noise From My Rear Springs no damage, its just inserting grease into the bushings by way of needle, if u want to find out if that is ur problem, just spray the bushing with pb blaster, or other penetrating oil, if problem goes away, they problem solved.... get a needle and inject grease into the bushing, it works great, i havent had a single squeak since i did mine, hit me up on pm if u want to know more, i have pics an whatnot |
Re: Squeaking Noise From My Rear Springs also lube your tie bar bushings... it might not be your camber kit necessarily. tie bar bushings are more likely to squeek. |
