TSW = generic brand or good deal?

A friend just got bought some TSW wheels and I thought they were a generic brand (i think sears sells them) but I don't know as much about wheels as I should. I searched and found nothing here. If they're decent wheels he got a helluva deal, but if they're crappy he got ripped off...

i have always thought of TSW as being a very good brand...my fave rims of all time are the VX1's

TSW makes a very nice wheel, they are very high quality. I always liked the Revos the best.

I had the TSW Revo's on a previous car and they were really good quality.

I have 15" TSW edge's on my ride now, they are great quality, but they are fairly heavy.... look great though

I have the Revo's on my car and they are awesome. look at my members rides pic to see what the look like on a silver civic...but keep in mind my car looks like ass because the pic is from a year ago...and when i had waaay too much of a drop with my GC's.

I had TSW's on my last civic but when it came around this time I didn't want to pay that much for them in 17" so I went with Enkei but yeah TSW is a good brand.

I've got a set of TSW Trophies on my ride. They're great, but a tad on the heavy side. Was considering OZ's too, but liked TSW's more. I highly doubt that he got em at Sears.

TSW wheels aren't cheap wheels at all. Their prices are in the range of Konig & Enkei wheels.

He bought them on clearance at the Sears in the Grand Central Mall in Parkersburg, WV. Ended up getting the guy to take half off the tires and he got out the door with only dropping $453. Like I said, I didn't know but apparently he got a helluva deal! I believe they are called Ballistic? They only had 'em in 15" size (they have pretty rough country roads down there so he wanted to keep the tall sidewall)

Yeah, I've been checking them out over the last couple days. They've got some pretty good stuff. I can't seem to find any data on weight. I saw JSWhaler above posted that they are kinda heavy compared to other brands.

Does your post here mean you can offer any kind of lower price deals or discounts, Todd? :)
