can i slam with these rims????????
 
im just wondering if i can slam my 2004 dx 2door with these rims without running into major problems???????? also whats a ballpark figure a shop would charge to install full coilover camber kit and all the rest........the rims are 16 inch xxr 501... 225/40/16 the offset says hpo/med. from wheelfire.com

It depends on your offset, camber and width. But with 225, I think your going to rub if your slammed.

I had an 18inch running a 215 and it was a perfect fit, no wheel gap, some camber though.

most established shops (midas tuffy pep boys etc) are going to charge 75-90 an hour and it took me about 45 to an hour each side when i did mine so maybe around 400 or so. There's a website you can Google that estimates how many hours certain jobs are on certain cars. You can estimate how long it is from there just search for labor time for shock/strut change.

.......then again you can do it yourself for next to nothing if you have 10-19mm sockets....

225's seem awful wide...I wouldn't want to risk that unless I could measure it with the wheel already in place.

what if i stretch it with a 205/40/16 or 215/40/16 that should clear the fender no????
