8th Gen Wheels on 7th Gen

I realize that the 8th gen are 5 lug, however is it possible with an adapter to make it happen while still having the correct wheel offset. Has anybody done it, I would like to see some pics if so...

uhhh. no 'adapters' you speak of... you can get the rsx suspension to do the 5 lug conversion on our civics. then you can put those 5 lug rims you want on your civic.

Uh yes, but I'm not sure if they are safe to use or not. Don't think you'll have the correct offset though.

^^ i was under the assumption that the offset would be way off with the adapter. to the op, you can probably just buy rims that have a bigger offset to compensate for the space of the adapters. but i think you would have to buy a +55 offset rim? im not completely sure but i think those offset wheels are hard to come by.

Yea, I found some adapters that would work with my car on Ebay, and blah blah blah the guy assured me the rims would break before the adapters would. But yea, the offset was my concern, I dont want wheels sticking out 10 inches past the fenders. LOL

Go buy some proper 4 lug rims and be done with it.

same here:)
the only reason why i would convert to 5 lug would be for having rear disc brakes
