HX rims on my EX? The new hx rims are supposed to be 12 lbs instead of 16.5 so I was thinking of getting some. Besides needing new tires, what else would smaller rims affect on a car? I was thinking as far as handling, abs system, etc. Is it a good idea? |
just remember to size up the tires and you'll be fine. you dont want to be going slower than what your speedo is showing |
well i would be going from 15 inch to 14 inch. |
I don't understand why you would want 12 instead of 16 it's not going to be that big of a difference. If you wanted speed or less weight you should of got a 2 dr manual. The rims probally won't look that good either. |

i wouldn't do it. the weight savings/gas mpg/acceleration diff is probably not enough to warrant having small/ugly wheels on your car. |
Keep the EX rims, 14's only look good on older(late 80's/early 90's) cars... |
I'll be honest, when I went from EX steelies to rota Slips, I didn't notice a difference honestly. 14's are small anyways for our cars wheel well imo. |
Yo let me know if you want to get rid of ur si rims! :D I'm moving to Decator next month hehe I'll pick'em up ! :D |
hx wheel dude, hx wheels are so fugly tho |
ya i know :( and they are so tiny. So prolly keep ex wheels. Wish I had money for lightweight nice rims. |
