RotoTec Cross Drilled Rotors
 

Has anyone heard of this company, these are the only ones that are available to me without having to go out of my way. When it comes to having a 4 different companies that are all cross drilled and slotted, does it matter what kind you get? Cause If it doesnt i think that i will get the rototec ones. Its a canadian company btw

I wouldn't get fully X drilled rotors anyways. They'll crack faster than you can say, "Why did I get cross drilled rotors if I knew beforehand they were going to crack." Just spend $60 and get a pair of Brembo Blanks if you want some better rotors.

Cross drilled is basically a visual thing. They don't help anymore unless you count the slight wieght savings (very slight). Anyone that tells you that you need cross drilled rotors doesn't know what they are talking about. Go with Boilermakers suggestion and get the brembo pad upgrade.

I didn't recommend pads... Brembo Blanks are just plain old rotors, with Brembo's internal venting system (which is what really makes a good rotor). If we're talking pads now, I personally recommend Porterfield or Hawk Pads.

Unless you like the look or intend to do a lot of track days (Road Course), then I'd avoid Drilled rotors, Slotted ones are just as useless for the street too. Just pick up a set of quality rotors (Brembo Blanks) and you'd be fine. Pads and shoes will make more of a difference in brakeing then the rotor would any way.

I reccomend Porterfield I have their R4-S compound and Am more then satisfied. Now I just have to change brake fluid to a Higher temp one and I'm all set for some track days!!!!

people and their damn cross drilled slotted rotors.. a high quality blank, or a bigger disc, or an extra piston or two in the caliper does a lot more than any slotted/cross drill 'racing' rotor from some whatever 'company'

yes some cars do come stock with cross drilled.. but those aren't civics.
