Damn Canadian Winters Whats up everyone I'm currently about to buy my first set of winter tires to put on my steelies, I'm taking off my Rota's with T1-S' to get back into winter mode. I'm currently considering these tires purely out of suggestion from local shops, and I was looking for some input. Can someone suggest to me a really good winter tire, or let me know why I should or shouldn't buy the following; right now I'm either thinking about Micheilin Alpine Allstar or, Toyo Observe G-02. Stupid Canadian Winters. Thanks a lot |

Blizzaks or Pilot Alpins |
Blizzak's WS-50 is what i am buying. They are on sale now at Tires Plus. |
As a fellow Canadian......in fact a Montreal'er (and you know how bad it gets here!!), i highly recommend the Bridgestone Blizzacks............they are the best for winter driving and are on sale right now at SEARS........there the ones i bought.......and are awsome!! |
Arctic Alpines. I personaly think they are the best all around for winter city driving. The tread works great on packed snow and ice. And they arent too bad on wet/dry pavement either based on reviews ive seen. Any one with the "mountain-flake" logo should do you fine. |
