Is this swap possible? I would be really interested in this swap as the Civic DX 1993 is really light and I would take the 1.5 litre D15Z6 engine from 1995 Civic LS. Would it work easily or would you have to do a lot of framework to make it fit? Also planning on turboing the D15Z6.

do they both have the same trans type? (manual/auto)
they're both the same generation so it should be relatively simple

Yeah they are both manual transmissions. Thanks for the response! I was also considering swapping a D15Z8 engine from a 1999 Civic as I was able to find that engine for 250 Euros so do you happen to know if it happens to be harder to swap that engine and possibly the transmission from that car to the 1993 DX?

over where i am a '99 would have obd2 whereas '95 and '93 would be obd1 obd = on board diagnostics (sensors, wiring, ecu, etc)
so it would be more work

That may very well be the case over here too. I have to look into that. Could you tell me all the things that I would have to do to make it work if I put an obd2 engine to the car that used to have obd1?
