Replaced side view mirror and now it's making a ton of wind noise
 

I recently had my side view mirror taken clean off by a construction crew. Ordered a brand new mirror from Honda and installed it, but now it is making a bunch of wind noise when I get above 35 mph. It's not whistling, but it makes kind of a whooshing noise while driving, very noticeable. When I lost the original mirror there did not appear to be any body damage. What could be causing this? Bolts are tight, not sure what else to check.

gasket installed correctly if at all?

Recheck your install. Something like you describe ought to be fairly easy to see, huge gaps, gasket out of place, missing foam, etc.
