Vent window replacement

Guys my car (honda civic 01) got broken into and they busted the passenger rear vent window. I did order a replacement window, and I still have window trim. I was wondering if anyone had any information, docs, etc for diy window replacement.

its a huge pain to change. you have to completely cut out the old one and clean up all surfaces before gluing on the new one and letting it set. i will see if i can find the actual instructions for doing it properly.

there are locale auto glass companies that will come to your house and install new glass for cheap probably under $100 bucks.

I know this is an old post but just in case someone comes across it; I just recieved an estimate about having a front vent window replaced on my 2012 sedan (I'm locked out of the car).... $415.00. That's having a reputable, nationwide mobile glass company come to car. If I took it to their shop it would be $380.

Would it not be cheaper to use a local locksmith with a slim jim?
