2002 Civic power window problem
 

I really need some help.
1) I have a 2002 civic sedan
2) I tried to lower the rear driver side window with the switch from the front driver seat and it would not work.
3) I tried to lower the rear driver side window with the switch from the rear driver side seat and it went down.
4) When I tried to roll it back up it would not go up.
5) I tried to raise it from the rear driver side seat and the front driver side seat and it is dead. It makes no noise.
6) I checked the fuses under the dash. They are fine.
7) I checked the fuses under the hood. They are fine.

any thoughts?

You could pull the door panel off and use a battery to raise the window, then disconnect it so it can't be rolled down again

You could try swapping the rear window switches side to side just to see if it's a bad switch.

You could get a wiring diagram and track down the problem by testing
Got a voltmeter and know how to use it?

I had a similar problem happend to me before. I tried everything like you and I couldn't find the problem until, I took the side front bumper front the driver side and i saw some wires that were stripped from opening and closing the door too much. I am pretty sure I have some pictures of it, so I will see if I can find them.

I had this problem on a 2000 Honda Civic LX 4 Doors.

Had this happen a couple of times on my Civic sedans over the years. It's a relatively easy fix.

The wires inside the wiring harness/ sleeve between the door and the body can break.
The harness/ sleeve can be seen between the door and the body when you open the door.
It's flexible and will expand and compress when opening/ closing the door.
You can pull the rubber seal that connects the harness to the body off the body (as well as the one that goes into the door). Once you do look for a broken wire.

Both times on mine the broken wire was on the body side.
Once you find the broken wire, strip back the jacket to expose some bare wire,
twist the pairs together, wrap some electrical tape around them to hold them together.
Test to make sure the window works.
If it does push the rubber seal back into the body (or door) and you should be good to go.
