suspension problems i've been noticing this clicking noise everytime i start driving my car from a complete stop. so the other day i had my brother drive my car so i could take a look outside and noticed the front passenger side wheel moves back and forth about 1"- 2". i got the car on jackstands and looked under the car but nothing seems broken so maybe you guys would know something about this problem. thx |
this was the first thing that came to mind when I read what was going on... http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=243399 good luck! |
if it pops its your suspension if it is an 01. if it clicks its your cv joints/axles. i bet it gets louder when your turning right??? |
its not a cv joints or axles because both were replaced not to long ago and i made sure my suspension was installed correct. i thought it was a alignment issue had it checked out it wasn't it. im thinking its a wheel bearing or something of that sort |
I have the same issue with my 2004 civic ex. It clicks when i move from a complete stop. Have to take to the dealer and let them figure it out. Update once I do. |
Hmmmm wheel bearing?? dont know without being there... again good luck! |
does it move up and down? If so then it is your bearing. |
My clicking/popping is supposedly due to a bad strut assembly. Here are the details: http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...=274140&page=2 |
