Power Lock on Passenger Door is Now Broken.

Power Lock on Passenger Door is Now Broken.

This sucks, just this weekend the Power Locks stopped working for the Passenger door only.

*2002 Civic HX factory Power Locks, aftermarket keyless entry

*Installed the keyless entry 3 years ago on wires under driver side dash

*Passenger door doesn't lock/unlock with keyless entry or with the ues of lock/unlock button on the driver side door.

*It does lock/unlock by manualing lifting the lock tab up or down.

Where do I start on this one?

sounds like the locking selniod thingy went bad. You will have to order a new part, take the door panel apart, replace the part and put the door panel back together. Personaly I wouldn't bother, but a cheap bum.

I think doubledeuce2k2 had one go bad, you may ask him how much it ran him.

if it was the stock one, I did mine and could help you, but not sure on a aftermarket one.

I pm'ed DD2k2... it was his window regulator...

What's the diff? man I hate electronics...

SG .. i still have that O2 sensor in my glove box, but the wifey is yelling at me cuase I can hit the button for her to open the door... rofl...

ahhh yeah, sorry about that, I knew it had something to with the door

Anyway, it shoudn't be to bad, do you have a multimeter by chance, that would useful to see if the signal is making it to the lock popper, then you cna tell if it is the pooper or the connections.

Yeah... but i'm not the best at using it ... lol !!

gonna have a look in that Manual that just got passed around, see if I can't find a trouble shoot on it...
