Genuine Honda parts vs aftermarket

Do the mechanics use genuine Honda parts or aftermarket parts when some part is to be replaced?

Hondas are pick, one is electronic sensors. Some thermostats, radiator caps also are harsh to get aftermarket working. 7th gen headgaskets are also. Timing belt tensioners have some horror stories

A honda mechanic will use honda parts. A mechanic at an outside shop most likely will not.
