Clear coat?

Does my 2003 red civic coupe have a clear coat on it? I want to try a new polish out and it has 2 flavors. One for clear coats and one for cars without 'em. I'd like to know which one I should grab

99% of all cars made today have a clear coat. I believe all hondas do.

Yes you have a clear coat, stay away from polishes and use wax, wax protects better and doesn't strip anything away.

Clay Bar + Wax = HOLY MOTHER OF GOD...

Yes your car has a clearcoat. All cars on the market do today. What product do you want to use? I would only recommend using polish if the paint is really dirty or oxidized. If it isnt dirty or oxidized then get a quality glaze and a quality wax to protect your finish....Dont use products because they come in cool colors or call flavors....you should only use quality products when it comes to protecting your car from the sun, rain and other elements.

Also I am moving this thread to the detailing forum.

I'm going to try Zaino. I know that most polishes are only good if yer paint is old but from what I've heard from a few ppl Zaino blows everything away. I've tried Maguire's Gold class and Mother's reflections (or whatever it's called). I wasn't too impressed with either. I want my car to freakin' blind ppl when the sun hits it.

if u want to blind people ur gonna have to do the long steps.
wash, claybar, polish, wax, etc......long list of stuff to get.

best is just to claybar n wax
