I would use Meguairs Hot Rims wheel cleaner if they have brake dust and other gunk on them but if they dont, a sponge and some soapy water work excellent. Follow that up with a coat of wax and they will be more resistant to dirt and dust than before.

thanks man, the hot rims won't hurt the white coating will it??

No it says on the bottle that "it's safe for all wheels". I use it on my $2,800 rims and no problems yet.

I would just use regular car wash...and warm water. The rim cleaner may dull the finish of the rims after alot of use. If you clean your rims regularly then you will have no problem with just using car wash and warm water. After you dry them, remember to wax them. You want them to last along time and not get dull.
