removing those darn dealer stickers

hi. i recently purchased a 2002 honda civix lx coupe. i wanted it silver in a 5-speed, but my local dealer did not have one. they had to order it from another dealership. when they were prepping the car for me they partially removed the sticker from the other dealer. there is still some of the stick that wont come off. does anyone know if goo off will work? does it mess up my paint?

I believe Goo Gone will take the glue from the sticker right off. I also don't think it damages the paint at all.

also, WD-40 works and doesn't do any paint damage.

Bug and Tar remover does a pretty nice job also. I think its made by Lifter1. I've used it to remove that sticky stuff from the dealer decals and even my LX decal on the rear and it cleans up pretty nice.

Use a hairdryer to heat the sticker. It will come off easier.

try a steel brush, i recommend damping the area with paint thinner first,,
