something i thought might help some people... buffers

i had my nbp for almost a year now.. i've used meguires show glaze and yellow wax but the glaze only hides swirls. it'll come back after a little while.. havnt glazed my car for probably 3 months atleast and there are so many fine scratches are swirls.. i got the 3m swirl mark remover for dark colored cars... applied it in a small area and noticed a big difference. only problem is, using the swirl mark remover is tiring since your rubbing the same spot over n over for 10-15 mins. so ya i plan to get an orbital buffer ... when i get it, i'll be sure to get back to you with the results..

Maybe if you start rubbing the glaze in on a back and forth motion and dont use a circular motion, you will notice a big difference. If you use a circular motion you are just causing swirls to become worse than they already are and you are also creating more swirl marks. I would first use the swirl remover and then try 3M hand glaze. Rub it in really good....do a panel at a time and wipe it off....after that I would go over the whole car with meguires glaze....applying it in a back and forth motion...and let it sit on the car for 30 minutes....after that time wipe it off and wax the car using the same motion...and take the wax off with clean towels using the same motion....after you wipe the wax off go over the whole car with a micro fiber towel to remove any wax you may of missed on your frist wipe down.

eh, biggest problem for me is, i'm not allowed to wash my car cause they dont allow it in my complex. so i usually just get a towel, put water on it and wash that way.. i'm sure this is how i'm creating all the swirls. but even if i was allowed to wash my car, its a black car... its almost impossible to keep it swirl free...

I have a nbp vic as well. I would say it is impossible to keep it swirl free. Heck, you can touch the car w/o adding some scratches. Look at the wrong way and it scratches. LOL

Yeah, that is the same way with EBPs....even if I rub the paint with my finger it causes somw sort of swirls and/or tiny scratches....weird!
