Residue on inside windows Man, I got this residue on my back windows that maybe armorall? It's kind of a pain in the butt.... how do you guys useually get down in the crack right where the back dash and window meet? I want my windows to sparkle, but this is really annoying. My GF got this sponge on a stick thing from Japan that I have yet to use....I think it's like a rain protectant..so it prob. wouldn't work too well on the inside.... Any suggestions? |
some people use a piece of cardboard with a towel wrapped around the edge to get down into that crack. I know what you mean, you can't get down there with your hands. I still haven't done that with my car and the lower inside part of my window is pretty dirty. Maybe I will do that toiday! |
Yes, the paper towel wrapped around the cardboard trick works well...use Armor All Glass cleaner or any auto glass cleaner...they fare better and do a better job than the household crap... 2Hottie |
Thanks guys, I try it out. |
I gotta try it too because I have had that problem since like when I first washed my car. Can't get in the cracks! Thanx for the info:) |
Yeah, that works pretty well.. when I don't feel like finding a piece of cardboard (or I can't find something like that) I'll just take the washcloth and slide it inbetween the breaklight and the glass then wedge as much as I can down there, then move it back and forth with both hands, while it is still in between the glass and the breaklight.. I don't know if that makes any sense, but that works as well if you can't find something like cardboard to do it the other way. |
Another good glass cleaner is Stoner Invisible Glass...just used it the other day and it worked well! 2Hottie |

walmart sells a cookin utensil called spatula and it too works better than cardboard ,nice handle to fit any size of hand,as for the towels,,go to the car care section and grap some white 12X14 terry for about $4 for a dozen of course. |
