Glaze........... Hey everyone, I usually use the meguiars 3 step once every two months. For some reason my car never looks as deep of a color blue as I think it should be. If I use a glaze will that make the shine come out more? If so, in what order do I use it after while doing the meguiars 3 step? Is there anything else that can make my blue paint look like a deeper shade? Thanks for your help! |
I just used the glaze on my wifes 2k2 green lx and it made the paint a deep wet look. Definately worth the time. |
Yeah, the glaze should work well...the key is to leave it on the car for a while, then wipe clean with a terry towel...just make sure not to let it on too long or it will be a pain in the a$$! The longer it stays on...the longer the oils have to soak into the paint thus giving you a rich, deep gloss...damn, I should write commercials for Meguiar's!!! 2Hottie |
what order do I use the glaze in? Do I use it after I wax my car or before I polish? |
after wax. |

So I use the glaze after I use the meguiars carnauba wax? |
I would recomend 3m's imperial hand glaze. It bodyshop safe and makes you car look realy wet. |

That is if you use the meguires #7 glaze. Let it sit in a cool shady area for 30 minutes so the oils in the glaze soak into the paint. Then you wipe it off and wax. |
