Leaf blower anyone?

Anyone ever tried using a leaf blower to blow the water off their cars? then use a terry cloth or something to get the excess water off?
Seems like a good idea to get the big water puddles off first?

in theory, yes, in practice, you're gonna kick a lot of other sh*t onto your car in the process, like gravel, etc. Depends how careful you can be, i suppose........

Just use the Water Blade for the big puddles and compressed air for the cracks and the little drops, if you want.

I wouldnt use a leaf blower....Just use the california blade and then a chamois. Use a terry towel on the door jambs and to clean the wheels with. If you have a compressor you can blow air on the car to remove the water out of the cracks...but I never heard of using a leaf blower....Thats insane

It works OK, but ends up being more trouble than it's worth. Usually by the time you've finished with it, anything you missed has already dried, and then you've got water spots. I vote chamois

My parent's neighbor uses his blower to dry is viper everytime he washes it. I have done it several times. It really gets all the water out the cracks and dries it pretty quick. The main advantage it that you are rubbing the surface in any way. Although, blowing the water across the car can cause water spots. Nothing gets blown all over the car unless you are out the yard or something. On your driveway you will be fine.

my neighbor's would laugh if they saw me doing this!
