can u go from air drying car after car wash to straight waxing
 
hi, i was wondering if u could just let ur car air dry its self and go to straight waxing, is this bad for u car or what???

I know it does leave water spots but can't u just wax over them.

you'll definately be hindering your final result, and also you'll be putting yourself at unnecessary risk of swirl marks - those are the marks you referred to in your 'what do u use to buff' post.

You should just get yourself one of the many recommended products on this board and dry your car off properly.

ya you really need to dry off your car otherwise in time you can start showing signs of rust, streaking, or other things that will hinder your paint. Just not a good idea take the extra 10 mins and dry it off.
