Car Duster!

I saw no posts about this product and I'm sure this is nothing new to many of you but I thought I'd pass it on to those who aren't familiar with it or are skeptical.:susp: I bought a California Car Duster for my car. It works great for a daily touch up between washings. Takes about 3min to cover entire car. It picks up dirt, light water spots, and even some of the gunk the tires kick up onto the fenders. Leaves on scratches. I'm also using the Dash Duster for the interior. I just keep them both in my trunk and use them anytime. Also they don't have to be cleaned. My car looks a lot better between car washes. I picked mine up at walmart btw which was cheaper than the company website.

Here's a link to their site.

I am glad you liked yours, I thought mine sucked. I use it on my work truck now!

I'm curious Civicman, what didn't you like about it? Mine does exactly what it's supposed to do, clean off dust and dirt between washings. Now if it rains...forget it, you gotta get it washed. I've seen some generic versions of the Duster too, did you have one of those?

U wanna know what works really well in cleaning out the dust/dirt out of your vents/crack.??? Go to a shoe store and pick up a Kiwi shoe shine brush. I am in the military so of course i have to keep my boots shiny...I had an extra one UNUSED of course and it works wonderful. Its 100% horsehair so its safe even on your paint. Really it works so good...And all you have to do is rub your hands through it a couple of times to clean it....

ya the California duster works great. At first it kinda stunk cause it left small red fibers on my dash, but after some break in time it works even better now.

In certain parts of the town I live in there is random heards of insects that like to hang around on the road. When I was on my way to a show I met up with a random heard and plastered the front of my show truck at the time. When I got to the show I dusted it off and the bug debris just micro scratched the piss out of the front end of the truck. I am sure it would work fine in a dusty enviroment, but I have black civic now and the duster got demoted to keep my work truck clean. I have had just bad luck w/ it, and it was a Calafornia Car Duster.........
