Scratch remover
 

I just washed my car for the first time in a month, I live in Buffalo and this time of year its hard to wash it often. And I saw some small light scratches in my paint, there not down to the metal but still noticeable. Does anyone know of any good products to remove these?

nu finish, or use the turtle wax, ICE, it removes small scratches.

Nu Finish makes a crappy scratch remover and the turtle wax isnt much better. ICE just contains fillers and doesn't actually remove anything, much like Meguiars NXT does. Go with the ScratchX like in the picture, it really works the best.

Be patient, it will take a few applications and working a small area for about 2 minutes each time. Good luck.

I do paint repair on Harley's and I always use this stuff called Finesse-it: Final Finish by 3M. It works pretty damn well and with a lot of work can get some real deep scratches out. I used it on my car and it works on it too-but only on metal surfaces, so it won't work on the bumpers.

^^^where do you get this stuff? and how much is is, cuz i have a really deep scratch in my trunk that i dont want to pay to re-paint it.

If its through the clearcoat you can't get it out.

A scratch remover is just an abrasive used to level out the clear coat so the scratch isnt visible. If you have gone all the way through then there isn't anything to level out. You might be able to lessen the visibility, but without repainting it will never go away.
