Reflection warning Here's my advice... don't use anyhting that will make the tp of the dash shiny... cause when it's sunny out.... the reflection of the dash is on the inside of windshield... pisses me off when i'm driving, cause i can't focus or see clearly on what's ahead outside... i hade to lean towards the passenger side to drive for about a week.... kinda funny if you think of it..LOL |
hahhah i think everyone's experienced that at least once.. here's another thing to watch out for, certain protectants like armor all and other gel/oil type of shines they tend to evaporate in the heat and stick to your windshield/windows etc and create a nasty haze of a film |
hahaha totally. I treated my dash with armorall the other day - it made me contemplate getting one of those carpeted dashboard covers they make for odyssey - apparently they fit on the civic... i think D might have one... they're at handaaccessories.com |
nope, on closer inspection D doesnt have one. anyways check handaaccessories... i want one |
A shiny asss dash is definately dangerous. I prefer mine with just a hint of shine anyway. |
All I do to lessen the reflection is wipe the dash down with a damp cloth after applying armor all (or whatever you prefer). This seems to remove the excess armor all. Also, this helps with the evaporation problem causing haze on the windshield. |
HEHE I remember those days of reflection, now I have a Dashmat so I don't see much of that black shinny dash. If you don't have a dashmat here in AZ that 115 Heat will bake that dash to death. Nick |
What if your windshield is tinted? |
I dunno...might be the same |
