last year at this time I bought a CF hood from carbon creations in Cali.... it's getting all hazey and foggy ...WTF does anyone know why ?....I take extremely good car of my car it's not a daily driver and it gets washed and waxed weekly how can i get rid of this haz....it's almost like the epoxy is discoloring.....hasthis happened to anyone else ? :hithead:

hmm well it discolors from UV light coming from the sun. so either the wax sucked or just bad quality hood. I'm guessing it wasn't a vis or seibon cf hood.

I thought they had good hoods mines seibon still looks new

I've thought about strippin it and reclearing it like that now that I see it works I might give it a shot......It's def not the wax it's Meguirs Pro cost 29.00 a bottle lol.....thanks for you're help

so this would work for getting water spots out of the hood too?...if so that was a great DIY he did

Its a cheap hood. Ive seen those a lot down in Tx. The extreme heat doesnt help
