Remove paint from headlights

I help removing paint from my headlight. I think it happened when I got into my accident and had to get my front bumper re-painted.

The paint is on the corner of my headlight. It doesn't affect light output in any way, but I notice it, and it annoys me. What can I use to remove the paint from my headlight???

I know I can probably use paint thinner, but its really to the edge of the headlight, and I don't want to get paint thinner on my bumper or front fender.

TIA, Phu.

Well you could always take the light out and use paint thinner. But another alternative is to use an abrasive plastic cleaner. I suggest using Meguiars PlastX. Its lightly abrasive and impossible to mess up with, but it breaks down into a polish so you dont do too much. You can usually pick it up at most auto parts stores. Just use that on a terry cloth applicator, to give more bite, and go until you get the results you want. Its also a great all around clear plastic cleaner and restorer.

Thanks, I'll try that and see how that turns out.
