mold on bottom of seat cushion alright ive posted on this before but didnt have a good picture to explain it: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d1...8/S4020554.jpg so this is the bottom of my rear seats, im pretty sure the brown stains are mold and that is what is causing my car to smell so bad. i looked for leaks and found nothing. i cleaned it today with carpet cleaner and you can still smell it. i found a replacement on majestic honda but it was 92.00 plus shipping. is there anyway at all to get rid of this summer, also under the seats where melted cough drops and other nasty dried substances but i cleaned that up? no idea what to do now:confused: |
You can try steam cleaning it to get the smell out, but its gonna be hard. I suggest just springing for the new cushion. |
perhaps use a bleach / water solution and just scrub it on there and let it soak. you deffinitly want to be sparing on the bleach though. maybe 2 or 3 table spoons to a gallon of water. this link may help you: http://www.asbestos.org/Microbial/MoldClean-Up.html |
