im 16 and stupid
 

im your typical dumb 16yr old, and i have no clue what to use to wax my car, at my local autozone they have Meguiar's cleaner wax in a bottle, and Meguiar's cleaner wax in what looked to be a paste type substance. so WTF is the dif between them? if its the same crap i want to use the liquid one cause it looks easier right?

There both pretty good. I personally don't know which is better. Personally I used the wax in the can. It takes time and effort but it looks great. The liquid stuff is easier to use and is quicker.

my experience with car care products is... the ones that take more effort and time produce a much nicer result. This could be because you're much more proud of the result after you've spent 2 hours waxing your car... my suggesto is - if you're really torn... get both and find out which one you like.

Jebus, you take 2 hours to wax your cars. I work at a dealership and we gotta do it in 1 1/2 hours. My car takes about 2 hours for everything - wash, dry, wax, sweep, interior wipe, windows, tire dressing, rims, and remover all that road grime around the fenders. But its cuz I take longer on my car then on sold 60.000 dollar ones[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG][IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

me and a buddy washed/waxed our cars side by side in my driveway in the fall... we took about 3 hours for the entire operation... mainly coz we weren't in any sort of hurry, took lots of breaks, etc. lol In any case, I don't see a problem with waxing over a 2 hour period... its not very demanding work and there are no deadlines so its all good [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
